Nadine Strandlie appointed Sun Prairie human resources director
The city promoted Nadine Strandlie after she joined its HR team earlier in 2026.
Sun Prairie has appointed Nadine Strandlie, SHRM-CP, as the city's human resources director. She joined the municipality in March 2026 as an HR payroll and benefits specialist.
In her previous role, Strandlie worked with payroll, employee benefits, leave, retirement programs and policy matters. City officials cited her work with employees and department managers in announcing the appointment.
Strandlie has more than seven years of human resources experience and over a decade of work in government and higher education. She earned her SHRM Certified Professional credential in 2025.
A Sun Prairie resident originally from Germany, she speaks German, French and English. As director, Strandlie joins the city's executive leadership team. Innovative Public Advisors assisted with the recruitment.
